Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of sirlonebuckscomics.com (the “Site”), online and in-store purchases, customer accounts, rewards, gift cards, pull lists, and related services provided by Sir Lonebuck’s House of Comics & Geekery, LLC (“Sir Lonebuck’s,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using the Site, creating an account, placing an order, or participating in one of our customer programs, you agree to these Terms and to the policies referenced in them. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or related services. Certain purchases or programs may be subject to additional terms presented at the time of the transaction.
Eligibility and minors
The Site is intended for a general audience. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Site and make purchases only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether comics, books, collectibles, or other merchandise containing mature themes are appropriate for minors in their care.
We do not represent that every product is suitable for every age. Nothing in these Terms limits any age restriction required by law.
Customer accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.
Please notify us promptly at contact@sirlonebuckscomics.com if you believe your account has been used without authorization. We may suspend or close an account when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security concerns, misuse, or violations of these Terms.
Orders and order acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we received the order but does not guarantee acceptance or availability. An order is accepted when we process it for fulfillment, subject to applicable law.
We may limit quantities or cancel an order when reasonably necessary because of an inventory discrepancy, obvious pricing or listing error, suspected fraud, product unavailability, payment problem, legal restriction, or a quantity that reasonably appears intended for unauthorized resale. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the canceled amount to the original payment method.
You agree to provide accurate billing, shipping, contact, and payment information. We may contact you when additional information is needed to process an order.
Prices, payment, and taxes
Prices, promotions, product descriptions, and availability may change without notice before an order is accepted. We may correct typographical, pricing, inventory, or other errors, including after an order is submitted. If a correction materially affects a paid order, we will provide an appropriate refund or seek your approval where required.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other charges disclosed during checkout are added to the purchase price. Payment is processed through Shopify and its payment providers. You authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the payment method selected at checkout.
Shipping
We ship within the United States using USPS or UPS. In-stock orders normally leave our store within three to five business days. This is a processing estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date. Carrier delays, weather, holidays, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.
If we cannot ship within a promised or legally required period, we will provide any delay notice, cancellation option, or refund required by law.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. If a package is returned because the address supplied was incorrect or incomplete, the customer is responsible for any additional postage required to resend it.
If tracking shows a delivery problem or a package appears to be missing, contact us promptly. We may ask you to check with household members, neighbors, the carrier, or the local post office and to cooperate with a carrier inquiry. We generally allow up to 14 days from the shipment date for carrier investigation or delayed delivery before determining whether to issue a replacement or refund. The available resolution may depend on inventory, tracking information, and the circumstances.
Store pickup
We will notify you when an online order is ready for pickup. Pickup orders are held for 30 days after that notice. We will send at least one reminder using the contact information associated with the order.
If an order is not picked up within 30 days, we may cancel it and return the merchandise to inventory. A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the purchase price, and the remaining 75% will be refunded to the original payment method. This fee reflects payment-processing costs, the handling and reservation of the merchandise, and the reduced resale opportunity for time-sensitive products such as newly released comics. We will not apply the fee where prohibited by law.
Returns, refunds, and exchanges
Our Refund Policy is incorporated into these Terms and controls return eligibility, timing, condition requirements, exceptions, and refund procedures. It is available at sirlonebuckscomics.com/policies/refund-policy.
Comics, books, graphic novels, magazines, and other literature are nonrefundable. Most other eligible merchandise may be returned within 30 days if it is unused, unworn, in its original condition and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Sale items, artwork, special orders, personal-care items, and gift cards are not returnable, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
For an ordinary approved return, the customer is responsible for return shipping, and the original shipping charge is not refunded. If we sent the wrong item or the item arrived materially damaged or defective, we will pay reasonable return or replacement shipping and refund applicable original shipping charges.
Do not mail an item back without authorization. An unauthorized return does not create a right to a refund. The customer must arrange and pay for the item to be returned to them if the return is not accepted.
Product information and condition
We try to present product descriptions, images, colors, prices, and availability accurately, but minor differences may occur. Screens and devices may display colors differently.
Publication dates, release dates, cover artwork, creators, packaging, product specifications, and availability may change before release. Publisher or manufacturer changes are outside our control.
Unless a specific grade or condition is expressly stated, comics and collectibles are sold as ordinary retail copies and are not guaranteed to receive a particular professional grade or to have perfectly flawless packaging. This does not affect your rights when merchandise is materially damaged, defective, or misrepresented.
Pull lists and subscriptions
Manage Comics reservations and Sir Lonebuck’s pull lists reserve selected products for later purchase. They do not automatically charge customers on a recurring basis. Reserved products are purchased and paid for through Shopify or at the store.
The separate pull-list and subscription rules displayed on the Site are incorporated into these Terms. Those rules govern deposits, reservation requests, payment and pickup deadlines, incentive variants, cancellations, and closure of a pull list. If a program-specific rule conflicts with a general provision in these Terms, the program-specific rule controls for that program.

Rewards program
Eligible customers earn 10 points for each $1 spent. A customer may redeem 2,000 points for one $24 reward. Redemption requires a minimum purchase of $30 before tax. A reward may be used only once per day.
Rewards cannot be used on new releases or subscriptions and cannot be combined with another discount, promotional code, or reward. Points and rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another customer.
All unredeemed points expire when a customer goes 30 consecutive days without making a qualifying purchase of at least $1, either in the store or online. Each qualifying purchase restarts the 30-day activity period for the customer’s entire unredeemed points balance.
Points earned from a purchase will be deducted if that purchase is returned or refunded. If the account does not contain enough points, the balance may become negative or future points may be applied to the adjustment, as supported by the rewards system.
We may correct rewards errors and may modify, suspend, or end the rewards program prospectively. We will provide notice of material changes where reasonably practicable and will honor rights that cannot lawfully be changed or removed.
Gift cards
Sir Lonebuck’s gift cards do not expire and are not subject to dormancy or inactivity fees. Gift cards cannot be returned or redeemed for cash except when required by Washington law, including applicable cash redemption rights for a remaining balance under $5.
We may replace a lost, stolen, or mistakenly deleted digital gift card when the customer provides sufficient proof of purchase and we can verify the remaining balance. Replacement may be refused if the value has already been redeemed or the request cannot reasonably be verified.
Acceptable use
You may not use the Site or related services to violate law; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; transmit malicious code; interfere with security or operation; scrape or harvest information without authorization; impersonate another person; harass or threaten others; or facilitate unauthorized resale, fraud, or abuse.
We may restrict access or cancel affected transactions when reasonably necessary to address prohibited conduct, while complying with applicable law and our nondiscrimination obligations.
Intellectual property
The Site’s design, text, graphics, logos, photographs, and original content are owned by Sir Lonebuck’s or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Publisher, creator, manufacturer, and product names and artwork belong to their respective owners.
You may use the Site for personal, noncommercial shopping and information purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or exploit Site content without permission, except as allowed by law.
Third-party services and links
The Site relies on or links to services operated by third parties, including Shopify, payment providers, carriers, Manage Comics, and Joy Loyalty. Their services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for independent third-party websites or services, except to the extent responsibility cannot be excluded by law.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, available at sirlonebuckscomics.com/policies/privacy-policy.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its online features are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation. Products remain subject to any express manufacturer warranty and to rights that cannot legally be waived.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sir Lonebuck’s will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or services. Where liability may lawfully be limited, our aggregate liability relating to a transaction will not exceed the amount paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability arising from intentional misconduct or any other matter for which exclusion is prohibited by law.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse Sir Lonebuck’s for reasonable losses, liabilities, and expenses arising directly from your fraudulent or unlawful misuse of the Site, your material breach of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights. This provision does not require you to indemnify us for our own negligence or misconduct.

Changes and termination
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our business, services, programs, technology, or legal obligations. Revised Terms will be posted with a new effective date. Changes apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise. If required, we will provide additional notice.
You may stop using the Site at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material violation of these Terms, fraud, security concerns, or unlawful conduct. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain effective, including provisions concerning completed transactions, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and amounts owed.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another jurisdiction’s consumer-protection law must apply.
Any court proceeding arising from these Terms or our services may be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in King County, Washington. This provision does not prevent either party from bringing an eligible claim in small-claims court and does not eliminate a consumer’s right to bring a claim in another location when applicable law provides that right.
General provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be modified or severed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the policies incorporated into them form the agreement concerning the matters they address and supersede prior versions of those terms.
